KONSOLA / THE DETAILS

Terms of Service

The terms for using Konsola: who provides it, accounts, plans and payments through Stripe, cancelling, refunds, your data, liability and the governing law.

On this page

These terms are the agreement between you and Engineers Space LLC, the company that provides Konsola at https://konsola.space. By creating an account or using Konsola, you accept them. If you use Konsola for a business, you accept them for that business too.

Who provides Konsola

Konsola is provided by Engineers Space LLC (“we”, “us”), a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, the United States, at 75 E 3rd St, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Konsola is one of its products (engrs.space). You can reach us at hello@konsola.space.

The service

Konsola is a web app for tracking time and turning it into reports and invoices. It has two plans: Free, and Pro, which adds invoices and titles for task links. The pricing says what each includes.

We improve Konsola over time, so features change. If a change takes away something Pro includes, we tell you at least 30 days before it happens, and you can cancel.

Your account

  • You sign in with a code we send to your e-mail address, or with Google or Microsoft where they are offered. Anyone who can read your e-mail can sign in, so keep it secure.
  • An account is for one person. You must be at least 16 to use Konsola, and old enough to make a contract where you live to buy Pro.
  • You are responsible for what is done in your account. If you think someone else has used it, sign out the other devices in Settings → Account and write to us.

Using Konsola fairly

Do not:

  • use Konsola to break the law, or to store content you have no right to store;
  • try to reach other people's data, or test our systems for weaknesses beyond what our security contact invites you to report;
  • overload the service, or use it in automated ways that go beyond normal use;
  • resell Konsola, or offer it to others as your own service;
  • use Konsola if the sanctions or export laws of the United States forbid us from serving you or the place you are in.

If an account breaks these rules, we may suspend it. Where we can, we warn you first and give you time to put it right.

Plans and payments

  • Free costs nothing and has no time limit. Pro costs $5 a month or $50 a year. Prices are in US dollars, without VAT or sales tax. Where we have to collect it, Stripe adds it at checkout and shows the total before you pay.
  • You buy Pro from us. Stripe processes the payment and keeps your card details; we never see them. Stripe e-mails you the receipt for each payment.
  • If a price changes, we tell you at least 30 days before. The new price applies from your next renewal after that, and you can cancel before it does.

Renewal and cancelling

  • Pro renews automatically at the end of each period, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. You agree to this when you buy it.
  • Before a yearly renewal, we e-mail you a reminder.
  • You can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan & billing → Manage subscription. Pro stays until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing is charged after it. Your account and your data stay, on Free.
  • If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while. Pro ends if the payment keeps failing.

Refunds

  • If Konsola is not for you, write to hello@konsola.space within 14 days of your first payment for a subscription, monthly or yearly, and we refund that payment in full.
  • Renewals are not refunded, and neither is the rest of a period after you cancel, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
  • If we end your Pro without you having broken these terms, we refund the part of the period you paid for and could not use.
  • Refunds go back through Stripe to the way you paid. When the money arrives depends on your bank.

These rules add to your rights under the law where you live; they never take them away.

Your data

  • What you put in Konsola is yours. We use it only to provide Konsola to you, as the Privacy Policy describes.
  • You can download all of it at any time in Settings → Account, and delete your account there too. If you have Pro, cancel it first.
  • Deleting the account deletes your data at once. Backups that still contain it are deleted within 30 days.
  • If you enter personal data about others, such as your clients' contact details, make sure you are allowed to. We handle that data for you, as the Privacy Policy describes.

Availability

We work to keep Konsola running and your data safe, but we provide it as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or free of errors. Maintenance and outages can interrupt it. Keep your own copies of documents you must keep, such as the invoices you send.

Liability

As far as the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or lost business;
  • our total liability for all claims is limited to what you paid for Konsola in the 12 months before the event the claim is about, or $50, whichever is more.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending

  • You can stop using Konsola and delete your account at any time.
  • We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after a warning where we can.
  • If we ever close Konsola itself, we tell you at least 60 days before, so you can download your data, and we refund the part of any Pro period you could not use.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. For changes that matter, we e-mail you at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not accept them, you can cancel and delete your account before they apply. The date at the top of this page says when the terms last changed.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in Wyoming. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can also bring a claim there.

General

  • These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Konsola.
  • If a part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest stays in force, and the invalid part is read as closely to its intent as the law allows.
  • We may hand this agreement over to a company that takes over Konsola, and we tell you when that happens. You may not hand your account over to someone else.
  • If we do not insist on a term at some point, we can still insist on it later.
